Turn off Printer Notification
Document Printed Notification
A new feature included with service pack 2 is the ability
to receive notification when a document was sent to a networked printer. Its
intent was to let you know where and what you sent to the printer.
It seems great in theory but if you are doing a great deal of printing it can
get annoying. The following steps will show you
how to disable this popup.
- Click on Start then Settings then Printers and Faxes.
- From the File Menu click Server Properties.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Clear the Checkbox next to Show informational notifications for network printers.
- Click OK to close the Server Properties and and then close the Printers and Faxes window.
You will no longer receive print notifications.
