Interact Clubhouse

Mental illness affects every aspect of a person's life: the ability to find or keep a job, relationships with family members, friendships, and being an active member of the community. Interact Clubhouse is a place where adults with mental illness can come together and gain valuable work skills, thereby making friends, gaining social skills, and developing a support network. Our belief is that even the most severely disabled person can be productive and that work is an essential part of everyday life and the recovery process. The focus of treatment at Interact is not on illness, but on strengths, abilities, and providing each person with a sense of empowerment through meaningful work.

Who is eligible: Any adult that has been diagnosed with a serious and persistent mental illness and is an enrolled client at Four Corners Behavioral Health may apply.

Fees: Most insurance is accepted, including Medicaid. An application for a sliding scale fee based upon annual household income is available upon request.

How to access these services: Interact is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please call 435-259-7340 to set up an appointment for orientation. Or, drop in for a tour at 59 N 200 E. Members and staff are happy to answer your questions.

What to expect: Once a referral to the Club is made, an orientation is scheduled, typically Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. An orientation includes a tour of the club, a video presentation, and review of the clubhouse philosophy. Members and staff will assist you in developing clubhouse goals and identifying what you hope to achieve while participating at the club. All work in the club is voluntary and you are encouraged to select a "unit" to work in: kitchen, clerical, or career development. You will be assigned a mentor who will be available to answer questions and assist in making you feel welcome in the club environment. Once you become a member, you select a staff case manager. The case manager will complete a Case Management Assessment with you to determine your needs. We also identify your strengths so your talents can be put to good use. We enjoy meeting new people and look forward to helping you achieve your goals!
