Emery County Professional Staff


Jennifer Thomas is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker. She is the Emery County clinical supervisor. Ms Thomas obtained a BS in Social Work from Utah State University and a Masters Degree in Social Work from University of Denver in Colorado. The community planner chairs and coordinates the Emery County Local Interagency Council and Emery County DHS committees. She joined the Emery County team in 2001. Ms. Thomas has spent most of her life as a resident of Carbon and Emery Counties and has special interests in community development and inter-agency collaboration.


Mr. Lance K. Wright is a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor and a licensed Therapeutic Recreational Specialist. He received a Bachelors degree from the University of Utah in Therapeutic Recreation in and works as a Substance Abuse Counselor and with the Emery County Drug Court. Lance has been with Four Corner since 2001. Previously he worked as the Carbon/Emery Coordinator for the Children's Justice Center, and as Residential Director for two youth treatment programs.


Melissa Huntington has been working for Four Corners Community Behavioral Health since December, 2003 where she first started as an intern in the Price clinical office and was later hired on as a Mental Health Therapist/Substance Abuse Counselor. Before moving to Emery County, Melissa worked for two and a half years as a youth services resource coordinator at the Southwest Center in Cedar City, Utah. She completed her bachelor's degree in psychology at Southern Utah University in 2000 and continued on to receive her Masters degree in Counseling from the University of Phoenix in July 2004.


Maureen McArthur is a Clinical Social Worker. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Utah State University and a Master of Social Work from University of Utah. She is working as a therapist in the Emery office where she works with children, adolescents and adults.
