In Emery County

Mental Health Services

Mental health assessment services are available to anyone (adults, teens and children) in Emery County who desires this service or is deemed in need of this service. On going mental health treatment is contingent on the outcome of the mental health assessment. The purpose of mental health treatment is to educate the consumer about his or her mental illness, initiate a plan of treatment and carry out that plan in a dignified manner so that the consumer can live successfully in the community.

Who is eligible: Anyone residing in Emery County or passing through Emery County is eligible for mental health services.

Fees: Fees are set up on a sliding scale based on income and household size. Most insurances are accepted including Medicaid.

How to access these services: You can simply call the center at 435-381-2432 during working hours for an appointment. You can also call the emergency number 435-381-2404 or 911 after hours if they are having what you feel is a mental health emergency/crisis to immediately be connected with a mental health therapist. Or you can come by the office at 45 East 100 South in Castle Dale to make an appointment.

What to expect: When you come into the office for your first appointment you will be asked to complete the required application paper work that will include a simple questionnaire about how you are feeling/doing. You will then be assigned to a therapist for a mental health assessment. This therapist may or may not be your ongoing assigned therapist based on the mental health diagnosis.
