Services offered in Emery County:
- Mental Health Assessments.
- Mental Health Outpatient
Treatment.
* Out patient mental health treatment is available by licensed staff
for adults, teens and children for all diagnosed mental health disorders
- Youth Day Treatment.
* Once a week youth in this program attend a group meeting. This occasionally
includes a fun, social skill building activity.
- Medical Evaluations by
Licensed Psychiatrists
*Psychiatrists come to the behavioral health office in Castle Dale
once a week to do med evaluations, prescribe meds and to do follow
up on those taking the psychotropic meds.
- Transportation to Club
House in Price.
*The clubhouse program is available in Price for those who meet the
mental health criteria for this service. Here consumers are taught
a variety of skills as well as having positive social interactions.
- Substance Abuse Assessments.
- Intensive Out Patients
Substance
*Abuse Treatment Substance abuse services are available for adults
in a group setting four evenings a week in addition to some one on
one counseling. Similar services are available to youth immediately
after school four afternoons a week in addition to individual counseling.
- Drug Court
* For first time offenders, teens as well as adults, can choose to
enter the drug court program. This is done by a Plea in Abeyance.
- DUI Assessments
- DUI Classes
* DUI classes are held in both Castle Dale and Green River whenever
a minimum of four people have signed up for the classes.
- Substance Use prevention
Programs
* A variety of substance use prevention programs are ongoing year
around, both community and school based.
