Carbon County Professional Staff
Athena M. Carlile is a Registered Nurse. She received her Nursing Degree at the College of Eastern Utah. She worked previously at several psychiatric hospitals and in the behavioral health unit at Castleview Hospital in Price. Ms. Carlile works as a nurse case manager with the clinical team. She has been with Four Corners since 1992. She has special interests in the treatment of bipolar disorder and forensic nursing.
Dr. Kyle Elder is a licensed Psychologist. He received a Ph.D. in psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in Fresno. Dr. Elder served an internship at Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City and joined the Carbon team in 1995. He provides individual, family and group therapy as well as psychological evaluations and parent skills training. Dr. Elder is the Four Corners Children's Coordinator. He has special interests in attention deficit disorder and other disruptive behaviors and in reactive attachment disorder in foster children.
Anne Stacy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
She earned a Bachelor of Psychology and a Masters Degree in Social Work
from the University of Wyoming. Ms. Stacy has worked as a therapist for
children and families for Four Corners since 2001. She has special
interests in issues related to children, single parents and women.
Dr. Curtis Sudweeks is a Licensed Psychologist. He received his Ph.D. from Washington State University. He served a clinical internship at Boston University Counseling Center. He provides individual and group therapy for adults and children and does family therapy. Dr. Sudweeks is the chair of the Four Corners Quality Improvement Committee. He joined the Carbon County team in 1994. Special interests include developing empathy, understanding and sensitivity, improving relationships through assertiveness skills, self-actualization and exploring therapeutic factors in treatment.
Ann Prazza, LCSW, received a Masters Degree in social work from the University of Utah and a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the University of Oklahoma. Ms. Prazza joined the Four Corners team in 2006 and provides individual, family, and group therapy for adults and adolescents. Ms. Prazza worked previously in Salt Lake City for 20 years as a social worker, in outpatient, inpatient, and private practice settings. She has extensive experience in substance abuse treatment and womens issues, and worked as a section leader for several years at the annual University of Utah School on Alcoholism and Other Drug Dependencies. Other special interests include cognitive-behavioral therapy of depression and anxiety, psychotherapy with the elderly, and experiential psychotherapy.
Lena Marquez works at the Price Clinic as a Childrens Case Manager, and at the Lighthouse Learning Center as a Adolescent Substance Abuse Counselor.
Nanette Orton, LSAC received her LSAC license in 2003. She has worked for Four Corners since 1990 in several Programs during the 16 years with Four Corners. She has worked with people with Co-Occurring Disorders of mental illness and substance Dual Diagnosis, McKinney Homeless Program and Case Management on the Psycho-Social Team. She currently works in Adult Substance Abuse Treatment IOP, individual counseling, Relapse Prevention and Special Needs Group and Aftercare for those with Co-Occurring Disorders.
Kaylum James Paletta is a Substance Abuse Counselor. He works as a one on one counselor for adults, as well as group therapy in the Intensive Out-patient Program. Mr. Paletta is also the Carbon County Felony Drug Court Coordinator. He has special interests in recovery, mens issues, spirituality, mediation, communication and encouraging individual growth to enhance quality and productivity in life.
Debbie Curtis is the office supervisor of the Price clinical support staff. She received her Associates Degree from the College of Eastern Utah. She has special interests in providing exceptional customer service, client confidentiality, IOP, Drug Court and first party collections. Mrs. Curtis joined Four Corners in 1995.
Candace Herrera is currently enrolled in the Heathcare Management program through Ashworth College. She holds a Secretary II position in the Price Clinical Office. Her special interests include Financial and Insurance Audits, Medical Records, File Clerk, and Customer Service. She is new to Four Corners, and joined the team in February 2007.
Melissa Huntington has been working for Four Corners Community Behavioral Health since December, 2003 where she first started as an intern in the Price clinical office and was later hired on as a Mental Health Therapist/Substance Abuse Counselor. Before moving to Carbon County, Melissa worked for two and a half years as a youth services resource coordinator at the Southwest Center in Cedar City, Utah. She completed her bachelor's degree in psychology at Southern Utah University in 2000 and continued on to receive her Masters degree in Counseling from the University of Phoenix in July 2004.
Carbon County Psychosocial Team
Robin Potochnick is licensed as a Registered Nurse and Clinical Social Worker. She received her Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Utah. Ms. Potochnick is the Psychosocial Program Supervisor in Carbon County. She leads a team of case managers, clinicians and nurses in assisting adults with severe and persistent mental illness in the recovery process and provides supervision to other programs. She is an experienced clinician and has worked with many programs and populations during her 26 years with Four Corners. Special interests and expertise include sex abuse survivors, moods disorders, anxiety, psychotic disorders, and co-occurring disorders of mental illness and substance abuse and grief work.
Paul Robinett earned an Associates Degree
from the College of Eastern Utah and a B.S. in Secondary Education and
Social Science from Utah State University. He has also earned his S.S.W
license. He works as a Mental Health Case Manager on the Community
Outreach Team specializing in education and employment. Mr. Robinett
was a secondary school teacher before joining Four Corners in 2000.
Pat Wilson is licensed as a
Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He received a B.A. from Metro State
College in Denver, Colorado in 1985 and continued his education at the
University of Utah, where he earned a MSW degree in 2004. He works as a
Mental Health Therapist on the Community Outreach Treatment Team
specializing in housing and entitlements. Pat has been with Four
Corners since 1992.
